Argan Oil

Argan oil comes from the Argan tree (Argania Spinosa) that grows only in southwestern Morocco. It has been used by the women of the Berber tribe for cosmetic purposes for centuries. It takes much hand labor for many days by the women to make one liter of the prized oil. But every drop is worth it. It softens the skin, invigorates, and rejuvenates tired and wrinkled skin by rehydrating and giving the skin elasticity and a more youthful appearance. It helps to remove scars, slight burns, and dark spots. Argan oil is chocked full of essential fatty acids oleic and lineoic acids (47%) as well as in vitamin E (60–90mg/100g) which gives it antioxidant qualities. Sweetie’s Sugar Scrub uses lots of it as one of its main ingredients. It is expensive, but it is worth it for ones best skin.
